Women's Results | NC State Men Win Again

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Duke women's cross country team won its first Atlantic Coast Conference cross country crown today, as the Blue Devils posted a score of 29 points at the 2004 ACC Women's Cross Country Championship in College Park, Md.

Duke was followed by North Carolina, who recorded 56 points to place second. NC State was third with 71 points, while Wake Forest was fourth with 94 points. Virginia tallied 163 points, finishing the race in fifth place and was followed by Florida State (6th - 168), Virginia Tech (7th - 197), Maryland (8th - 205), Clemson (9th - 270), Georgia Tech (10th - 272) and Miami (11th - 305).

Duke placed five runners in the top ten and was led by 2004 ACC Individual Champion Sally Meyerhoff, who covered the 6K course in 21:34.2.
