![]() Virginia Claims 2005 ACC Men's Cross Country Title

Complete Men's Results Tallahassee, Fla. - The Virginia men's cross country team won their second ever Atlantic Coast Conference cross country title today as they recorded 30 points at the 2005 ACC Men's Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Fla. Virginia won the crown for the first time back in 1984. Virginia edged out Florida State, who finished in second place with 38 points. NC State finished third with 103 points, while Wake Forest took fourth place with 136 points. Duke was fifth with 142 points and was followed by Virginia Tech (6th - 174), Clemson (7th - 175), North Carolina (8th - 198), Boston College (9th -201), Maryland, (10th -304), Miami (11th - 342) and Georgia Tech (12th - 356). Florida State's Andrew Lemoncello successfully defended his title from 2004 as he captured his second ACC Individual Championship.
